Hi, I am Miyoko Childs and the Founder of Japan Trade Support, based in Cambridgeshire UK.

For the past 5 and a half years, I worked for Export To Japan, an organisation partnered with the Department for Business and Trade (DBT) Japan, helping over 1,000 UK companies of various industries looking to enter or expand their businesses in Japan. Also as a Project Manager, I carried out a lot of market research, managed many prospecting projects tailored to each of our clients while working with our local team and always delivered the results in time.

I truly enjoyed working with UK business owners and overseas business development managers who needed Japan-specific support to enter or expand in the market while engaging with them throughout their customer journey. This led me to set up Japan Trade Support so that I can focus on providing various flexible, cost & time-effective bespoke services according to each client's business requirements while also supporting DBT as one of its Overseas Referral Network partners.

Being a native Japanese with solid work experiences both in Japan and the UK in international businesses and customer service is where I can bring a true value to companies that are looking for a hands-on, specific or step-by-step support to enter and grow in this uniquely exciting but complex market.
