Hi, I am Miyoko Childs, Founder of Japan Trade Support, based in Cambridgeshire, UK.

For the past five and a half years, I worked for Export To Japan, an organisation partnered with the Department for Business and Trade (DBT) Japan, supporting over 1,000 UK companies across a wide range of industries looking to enter or expand their businesses in Japan. As a Project Manager, I conducted extensive market research and managed numerous prospecting projects tailored to each client’s needs, working closely with our local team and consistently delivering results on time.

I truly enjoyed working with UK business owners and overseas business development managers who required Japan-specific support to enter or grow in the market, engaging with them throughout their customer journey. This experience led me to establish Japan Trade Support, allowing me to focus on providing flexible, cost- and time-effective bespoke services aligned with each client’s business requirements, while also supporting DBT as one of its Overseas Referral Network partners.
