<Introductory Meeting> - We offer the first 30min free of charge.
We set up an intial online meeting to learn about your business, product offering and requirements.
We will also learn about any previous activities & current status that your company may have in the Japan market. We then discuss ways we can assist you further.
We carry out research to verify the marketability of your products in the Japan market.
The research usually covers some statistical data such as the market size, its growth rate, market share, trend as well as information about key players, international competitors that already have presence in Japan, distribution channels, laws and regulations, relevant trades shows etc.
We can also conduct research on a Q & A style, sourcing information to answer a list of specific questions you may have.
<Potential partner identification and assessment>
Once you review our research report and decide to proceed with exploring the Japan market further, we move on to researching potential partners (i.e. typically, distribuitors) that appear suitable for your products. Our compiled report usually consists of company details, products they handle, why we think they may be good candidates for you, and any other information that may be useful for you.
We send the report to you for review and welcome any feedback and follow up on any questions you may have. You then shortlist the companies you are interested in.
<Approaching your shortlisted prospects>
Once you are ready for us to approach your shortlisted prospects, we ask you to provide us with a brief summary of your Company and marketing materials. We translate (localise) the summary and create a 1-page presentation in Japanese.
We then approach prospects in Japanese by phone or by email/online form and see if they are interest in your products. Once establishing contact with the right person, we send the prepared materials to him/her.
<Introducing and arranging meetings>
Upon receiving positive response from the prospect(s) on your products offering, we introduce them to you by email and then arrange a meeting between both parties. We can facilitate or provide interpretation during the meeting(s) upon request.
You and your prospect(s) can start having a direct conversation and business dealings thereafter between yourselves.
